The Legal Process

1. THE INJUCTION

The first step is an injunction, filed in court to freeze any further destruction while the main case proceeds. This was officially submitted on 15 October 2025, and in the week beginning 27th October the building works were suspended, while the courts decide whether or not to uphold the injunction.

2. THE MAIN ACTION

The main legal case will follow the filing of the injunction. where we will challenge the legality of the Detailed Urban Restructuring Plan for Carcavelos-Sul (PPERUCS) and its licensing.
